At El Patron our goal is to share our love of Mexican food and culture in a town that we love. Aside from our made-with-love food and our one of a kind cocktails, we truly value the customer’s experience and we hope that this love translates to everyone that comes in the door. We wanted to give Tecumseh a little slice of Mexico where our customers can feel immersed in the culture and be transported.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have gluten free options?

We have lots of gluten free options. All of our street tacos, birria tacos and enchiladas are on corn tortillas that are gluten free. We recommend telling your server so they can make note of it so the kitchen can take the proper precautions while preparing your food as we do have items with gluten in our kitchen. You can also substitute the flour tortillas for the corn ones for the flaming cheese or fajita. Our Carne Asada is also a great option and is served with corn tortillas.

Disclaimer: the kitchen takes the proper precautions in preparing gluten free meals however we can never 100% guarantee that there is zero cross contact, especially with items we outsource. 
*Chips are also fried in the same fryer as items that have gluten since we only have 1 fryer.

Lots! In most cases we can substitute meat for freshly grilled veggies (peppers and onions). For tacos, we offer a vegetarian taco that has our beans, grilled veggies and pico de gallo, served with side salsa and limes.

Disclaimer: Our rice does contain chicken broth and so does our enchilada sauce. 

We only take reservations for parties of 8 or larger. We do however operate using a waitlist system for smaller groups.

How does your waitlist work?
When the restaurant is at capacity, we utilize a waitlist system. To be added to the waitlist, please call approximately 1 hour before your desired seating time.
 
Waitlist availability is subject to current restaurant capacity and may vary.

Yes we do! We have many options and we customize all our catering based on what the customer would like. Our most popular option is definitely our Taco Bar where the tortillas and meats come separate and warmed along with cilantro, onions, limes and salsas. This way, each guests can make their own taco – a fan favourite for sure!

You can absolutely place an order for pickup by calling us at 519-735-4545, however we do not offer online ordering or delivery at this time.

Reservations

1. Reservation Requirements:

  • We only accept reservations for parties of 8 or more.

2. Seating During Peak Hours:

  • During peak hours, all parties will only be seated once the entire group has arrived. We recommend arriving together to ensure a timely dining experience for all guests

3. Reservation Hold Time:

  • Reservations will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes. If your party does not arrive within this time frame, the reservation may be released.

4. Waitlist Procedures:

  • When the restaurant is at capacity, we utilize a waitlist system. To be added to the waitlist, please call approximately 1 hour before your planned seating time. Waitlist availability is subject to current restaurant capacity and may vary.

5. Modifications and Cancellations:

  • If you need to modify or cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible to allow other guests the opportunity to dine with us.
